Babci

Babci has come to visit! She will be here for another couple weeks and we will have more pictures to put up. She has been a blessing to us and Maddi. Maddison loves staying home with Babci. Here are a couple pictures from the airport when we picked her up. Maddison wasn't too happy to be awake and at the airport at that late hour but she made it through.

The weather has been a bit crazy lately but we have been able to venture outside quite a bit and Maddison loves it!

Daddy loves to snuggle his baby girl and she loves it just at much!

Maddi loves her play time all to her self. She has many buddies to play with but the purple elephant is her favorite so far.

Sleepy

Maddison always looks so peaceful when she sleeps. Well don't we all? But she always makes herself totally comfortable. Arms usually above her head or under her chin. So cute!

Bath Time!

Here are a few bath time pictures! Maddison loves her baths-unless she gets cold! She loves taking baths with mom.

No more blanket!

Maddison is finally off the Bili Blanket. She didn't like it too much. Made it hard to hold and snuggle her with it. She is now 20 inches long and 7lbs 7 oz. She is getting chubby cheeks. I am glad she is filling out finally. She doesn't look so tiny and fragile. She is going through a growth spurt and wants to eat all the time. People always told me babies just sleep all the time at this age. Someone should have told Maddison!

First Dr appointment

Maddison had her first Dr appointment yesterday. All went well. Dr said she could tell she was an early baby but that she was perfect! The baby nurse in the hospital thought she had a heart murmur but she is showing no signs of it now. So happy! She is a bit yellow so we were sent for a blood test. I thought she was going to scream like she did in the hospital so I was dreading it but Adrian held her hands and comforted her the whole time and she didn't seem to mind the heel poke and squeezing. Adrian can calm her faster than I can. She has always been calm in his arms. She is jaundice so we have a bili blanket for her. She looks like a glow worm. Hopefully she is done with blood tests for now at least! Not so sure mom can take it!

Maddison

She is finally here! I act like she was late or something but she was actually almost 2 weeks early. I was ready to have her for sure! We weren't ready by any means though. We are the type of people that put things off till the last minute and apparently that doesn't work when it comes to babies. Her name is Maddison Annabelle Milewski. She was born April 12, 2010. She was 6lbs 9oz and 19.5 in long. She had a rough time getting here but she is perfect! Adrian is an amazing dad. I knew he would be. He is great with the nieces and nephews so he has had a little practice. But he is a natural for sure. We are so happy. Hard to believe I am actually a mom. So used to being the Aunt! I love it!
